The Drug awareness club of NSS at WCC hosted an impactful skit competition on 23rd July titled “Say No Before It’s Too Late” at Bamford Hall with various clubs belonging to the NSS unit performing, shedding light on the dangers of drug abuse among youth.

“This is not just a performance - it’s a collective effort towards a good deed.”

                                                            — Dr. Margaret Marie, Head of NSS unit.

A total of 10 student teams participated in the event with over 100 students watching the skits. The contestants presented powerful narratives on issues such as substance abuse due to depression, media influence, and lack of guidance, while also offering solutions rooted in awareness, self-control, and support systems.

Each team brought to light the problems of drug intake and how to handle it when exposed. Creative scripts and impressive acting engaged the audience with the right mix of infotainment.
