The Chapel committee organised the Student Christian Retreat 2025 at Lucy Peabody Auditorium on 5 July, with around 2500 students both from shift I and II actively taking part in it. Pastor Reenukumar of Rock Eternal Church and his worship team led this impactful session.

The retreat began with a special song by the Chapel Committee followed by Praise and Worship led by the Rock Eternal worship team. After the lively praise and worship session Pastor Reenukumar addressed the gathering on Mental Health - identifying root causes such as stress, isolation, depression, and broken identity, which many students face amid academic pressure and societal expectations. He introduced five spiritual shifts for deep mental healing rooted in biblical references and practice.

He also recommended the 60-Day Mental Health Challenge comprising 3U’s: Unplug - Disconnect from digital overload, Unload - Share burdens through prayer, and Upgrade - speak 3 truths over yourself and renew your mind through the word of God.

The Student Christian Retreat 2025 was more than an event - it provided a spark for spiritual transformation. The chapel committee hopes to conduct more Christian Retreats for students in future. Judith Tirza, a student of I BA English said, "The presence of God was so evident and I felt God's love in the auditorium.”
